About the role
Kani Solutions India Pvt Ltd is looking for a skilled CMDB Administrator to join its remote team in India. You will be responsible for maintaining the Configuration Management Database, ensuring data integrity, and supporting the organization’s IT service management processes.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and continuously improve the CMDB, ensuring accurate configuration items and relationships.
- Integrate discovery tools and asset inventory systems to keep the CMDB up‑to‑date.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, networking, and application teams to gather and validate configuration data.
- Support ITIL/ITSM processes such as change, incident, and problem management through the CMDB.
- Provide reporting and analytics on configuration data for governance and compliance.
Required profile
- Proven experience in CMDB administration and configuration management.
- Strong exposure to ServiceNow CMDB and/or ITOM modules.
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure components, including servers, cloud platforms, networking, and enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with ITIL/ITSM best practices.
- Experience with discovery, asset inventory, and integration processes.
