Cluster Construction Manager – Solar PMC

About the role

The Solar PMC Construction Manager will lead the full construction lifecycle of a landmark gigawatt‑scale solar asset, overseeing massive logistics, multi‑contractor EPC frameworks and extensive civil and electrical infrastructure across thousands of acres.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor PMC inspection coverage aligned with EPC look‑ahead plans.
• Synchronize multi‑front civil works, including millions of structural piles, tracker systems and solar module installations.
• Monitor construction sequencing across foundations, trackers, modules, DC/AC works, Balance of Plant and grid integration.
• Review manpower and equipment deployment, manage productivity constraints and inter‑discipline handovers.
• Coordinate field observations from civil, electrical, QA/QC, HSE and commissioning teams.
• Escalate material, design, safety or quality issues to the Solar Site Team Leader.

Required profile

• 10–15 years of heavy infrastructure construction experience.
• 5+ years managing mega‑scale solar projects (300 MW to GW+).
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• PMP or equivalent execution certification preferred.
• Experience with large solar parks in India is a strong advantage.
