Cloud Support Engineer, AI/ML (Night Shift)

About the role

Snowflake is expanding its Support team and seeks a Cloud Support Engineer focused on AI/ML and programmability for the night shift. The role involves helping customers run AI, ML, data science, and data engineering workloads on Snowflake Cortex and related product lines.

Key responsibilities

• Drive technical solutions to complex problems and provide in‑depth analysis via email, web, and phone.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues across Snowflake’s environment, connectors, third‑party software, Python runtimes and ML libraries.
• Evaluate and compare Large Language Models to help customers maximize Snowflake’s AI capabilities.
• Document solutions in internal and external knowledge bases and report bugs or feature requests.
• Partner with engineering teams to prioritize and resolve customer requests and participate in support initiatives.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a technical support or customer‑facing technical role.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English with strong attention to detail.

Required skills

• Python programming and familiarity with common ML libraries.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider’s ecosystem (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and version‑control systems (Git).
• Knowledge of Large Language Models and their enterprise applications.
• Familiarity with DevOps concepts, Kubernetes, and MLOps practices.
