Cloud Native Full Stack Java Developer

About the role

Join SAP Fioneer’s product development team to build innovative, cloud‑native financial services solutions. You will work on end‑to‑end banking and insurance platforms using modern Java technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Execute software development based on reviewed designs and perform thorough developer tests to maintain code quality.
• Conduct functional integration testing of new software and promptly address identified issues.
• Resolve software defects discovered during internal and external testing to ensure smooth deployments.
• Analyze and fix complex issues in both existing and new code with strong problem‑solving skills.
• Contribute to short development and release cycles while delivering high‑quality code.
• Collaborate with geographically distributed teams to ensure seamless communication and project success.
• Apply agile engineering methods throughout the full software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, QA, and documentation.

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, and REST APIs on the backend.
• Academic degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a comparable qualification.
• Experience in financial or banking systems is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, Eclipse Link, SOAP, REST APIs, Microservices, OData.
• JavaScript (ES6), CSS, JSON, XML.
• UI frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or UI5 using the MVC pattern.
• PostgreSQL database expertise.
• GitHub Actions and CI/CD pipeline knowledge.
• Cloud‑native platforms like Azure, AWS, and OpenShift.
• Eclipse and Visual Studio Code tooling.
• Design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Functional and object‑oriented programming paradigms.
• Responsive, user‑friendly interface development.
• Unit testing and debugging skills.
