Cloud Engineer – Azure & Microsoft 365

About the role

The Cloud Engineer joins Netrix‑Global’s Managed Services division to design, operate, and support both on‑premise and cloud infrastructures for the company and its customers. Reporting to the TOC/NOC Manager, the role serves as a primary escalation point for the service desk and systems teams.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, including AD, DNS, DHCP, and File/Print services.
• Manage virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V) and perform routine server updates and upgrades.
• Configure, monitor, and resolve backup jobs and restore requests using tools such as Veeam, Datto, or Carbonite Evault.
• Support Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services, handling incidents and service requests.
• Collaborate with TOC/NOC, Service Desk, and Systems teams to resolve escalated issues.
• Document configurations, procedures, and best practices; follow change and problem management processes.
• Participate in client onboarding, service delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience with Windows Server, virtualization, backup technologies, Azure, and Microsoft 365.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for customer interaction.
