Clinic Maintenance & Hygiene Assistant – Mobile Outreach Project

About the role

The Hans Foundation is seeking a dedicated Clinic Maintenance & Hygiene Assistant to support its Mobile Community Outreach Rehabilitation project in Goa. The role focuses on ensuring a clean, safe, and functional environment for early‑intervention services delivered to persons with disabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards of the mobile clinic and associated facilities.
• Assist in the safe delivery of health and rehabilitation services to children and adults.
• Manage patient queues and ensure smooth flow of service delivery.
• Support the setup and upkeep of medical equipment and assistive devices on the mobile unit.
• Coordinate with the Senior Project Coordinator to address any operational issues.

Required profile

• Basic education with a focus on health, sanitation, or related fields.
• Experience in a clinical or community health setting is preferred.
• Ability to work in a mobile environment and adapt to varying field conditions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hygiene and infection‑control protocols.
• Familiarity with basic medical equipment maintenance.
• Effective communication for interacting with service users and team members.
