About the role
The role involves creating detailed civil drawings for bridges, highways, flyovers and Metro projects, including concrete and steel reinforcement, steel girder details, and framework drawings.
Key responsibilities
- Develop general arrangement drawings for bridges, highways, flyovers and Metro projects.
- Produce concrete and steel reinforcement drawings for bridge components including foundations, substructures, superstructures and bearings.
- Create detailed drawings for steel girders such as plate, truss, open‑web and their connection details.
- Prepare framework drawings based on engineer‑provided details.
- Review and check fabrication drawings submitted by external agencies.
- Lead and mentor a team of junior draughtsmen, ensuring quality and production standards.
Required profile
- Diploma or ITI qualification in Draughtsman with at least 3 years of experience on bridges, highways, flyovers and Metro.
- Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD for producing detailed civil drawings.
- A civil engineering degree is considered an added advantage.
