Civil Site Manager

About the role

The Civil Site Manager will oversee all aspects of field contract management for large commercial construction projects. This role ensures that works are executed in line with design specifications, contract documents, and quality standards while coordinating closely with clients, project teams, and authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage overall field contract administration, monitoring contractor performance against designs, specifications, and contractual obligations.
• Control quality of materials, workmanship, and installed systems, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Liaise with clients, project management, contractors, and relevant authorities to resolve project issues.
• Supervise, review, and report on project progress, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Coordinate site safety activities and enforce on‑site procedures.
• Monitor staff performance and implement efficient work processes.
• Track financial status of contracts and support final approvals, hand‑over, and close‑out activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience on large commercial infrastructure and building projects.
• Strong knowledge of codes, design manuals, and construction practices.
• Ability to interpret complex contract documents, drawings, and specifications.
• Proven decision‑making and problem‑solving skills for engineering challenges.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and client‑briefing capabilities.
