Civil Site Grading – BIM

About the role

Egis is looking for a Civil Site Grading professional with strong BIM skills to design and draft engineering and construction drawings for land‑development, municipal and interdisciplinary projects. The role involves creating 3D models, plans and profiles while staying current with the latest CAD/Civil 3D tools.

Key responsibilities

• Design and draft engineering/construction drawings for land development and municipal projects.
• Develop 3D drawings, plans, profiles and models using Civil 3D.
• Produce design spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel and written project reports.
• Enhance data charts and tables for presentations.
• Interpret and apply standards from regulatory bodies and project stakeholders.
• Maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
• Stay updated on CAD/Civil 3D tools in collaboration with senior designers.

Required profile

• College diploma in Civil Engineering Technology, Engineering Design Technology or a related field.
• Experience in consulting engineering, land development or municipal engineering design is an asset.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D, including pipe networks, surfaces, alignments and corridors.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Projectwise, BIM360, Procore or SharePoint is a plus.
• Automation experience (Dynamo, Python) is advantageous.
• Strong computer, analytical and English communication skills.
