Circle Head – Gold Loans

About the role

The Circle Head – Gold Loans leads the strategy, growth and profitability of the gold loan portfolio across the assigned zone. This senior position is responsible for achieving asset‑under‑management, disbursement, P&L, branch expansion and compliance targets while overseeing a large regional team.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution of the gold‑loan business strategy, ensuring target AUM, disbursement volumes and profitability.
• Define and implement the circle’s business plan, expansion roadmap, manpower structure and productivity benchmarks aligned with national objectives.
• Lead and manage multiple regional heads and a distributed network of branch teams, fostering high performance and operational governance.
• Build and nurture relationships with all enabling functions and regional stakeholders to support business growth.
• Ensure strict compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Monitor portfolio quality, market trends and risk indicators, taking corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in NBFC or gold‑loan business with a proven track record of delivering growth and profitability.
• Strong understanding of RBI regulations and compliance requirements for lending institutions.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large, geographically dispersed teams and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Strategic thinking with the capability to translate national strategies into actionable regional plans.
• Excellent analytical and portfolio monitoring skills.
