CI/CD DevOps Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our CI/CD and developer platform team. The role combines people leadership, technical direction, and operational ownership of a critical platform used by hundreds of engineers to build, test, and deploy software at scale.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor, and grow a team of 5‑10 engineers, handling hiring, performance reviews, and career development.
• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of CI/CD systems, ensuring reliability, scalability, and high availability for internal engineering teams.
• Define and enforce best practices for software delivery, release processes, and infrastructure as code.
• Drive technical strategy across CI/CD tooling, IaC, containerization, and orchestration to improve deployment frequency and reduce failure rates.
• Implement strong operational practices, including monitoring, alerting, incident response, and post‑mortem analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to prioritize roadmap initiatives and communicate trade‑offs and progress.
• Manage infrastructure costs and drive efficiency initiatives for CI/CD workloads.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, platform, or DevOps roles.
• 2+ years of engineering management experience, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Proven ability to lead technical teams and deliver measurable improvements to developer productivity.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD.
• Infrastructure as Code tools, especially Terraform.
• Container technologies and orchestration platforms, notably Docker and Kubernetes.
