Chief Information Security Officer

About the role

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) leads the organisation’s information security programme, shaping strategy and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity and availability of all data, systems and infrastructure. Based in Mumbai, the CISO works closely with senior leadership to align security initiatives with business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive information security strategy aligned with business goals.
• Identify, assess and mitigate security risks, vulnerabilities and threats across the enterprise.
• Lead incident response activities, coordinating investigation, containment, eradication and recovery.
• Oversee day‑to‑day security operations, monitoring, and management of security tools and technologies.
• Drive security awareness programmes and training for all employees.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, industry standards and audit requirements.
• Manage datacenter security, including physical infrastructure, power, cooling, fire suppression and access controls.
• Supervise server, storage and networking infrastructure security, ensuring optimal performance and resilience.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in information security leadership.
• Proven track record of developing security strategies and managing large‑scale security programmes.
• Deep understanding of regulatory and industry compliance frameworks.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to influence executive stakeholders.
