Chief Information Security Officer

About the role

The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will design, implement and sustain a robust IT security framework for the Adani Group. Reporting to the GCISO & CDO, the role leads IT audit, risk management, cyber‑resilience and threat intelligence across multiple business verticals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive IT security policies aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Lead IT audit, assurance, risk management and cyber‑resilience initiatives.
• Preside over monthly security posture meetings with senior IT leaders.
• Oversee corporate threat intelligence, business continuity and disaster recovery from an IT perspective.
• Drive a holistic security culture, including training programs and community building.
• Manage large‑scale IT transformation projects and liaise with security solution providers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field; Master’s preferred.
• 15‑18 years of experience, with at least 8‑10 years managing IT & cyber‑security portfolios for large enterprises.
• 5+ years in a leadership or COE role for information security.
• Proven experience in cyber‑security program management across infrastructure, applications and enterprise architecture.
• Strong background in systems analysis, application development and systems administration.
