Chief Administrative Officer – India Operations

About the role

The Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) will be the operational anchor of Invesco’s Hyderabad Global Capability Centre, partnering with the Co‑Heads to drive a high‑performing site that delivers operational transparency, efficiency and an exceptional employee experience.

Key responsibilities

• Support Co‑Heads in defining the strategic agenda for Hyderabad in line with global priorities.
• Run the office’s management operating rhythm, including ILT meetings, monthly business reviews, scorecards, town halls and executive visits.
• Partner with Finance for robust planning, reporting and budgeting.
• Collaborate with HR on talent lifecycle activities such as hiring throughput, retention, promotions and compensation cycles.
• Work with Corporate Communications to ensure clear, consistent internal and cross‑functional messaging.
• Provide data‑driven decision support and follow‑through for leadership.
• Manage ad‑hoc cross‑functional programs and initiatives as required.
• Engage with marketing, events and other partners to promote Hyderabad’s reputation in culture, brand and industry impact.

Required profile

• 12+ years of consulting or strategy experience, preferably within financial services or asset management.
• Strong business understanding of the financial services sector.
• Proven ability to work effectively with employees at all levels.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational and financial acumen.
• Demonstrated project‑management capability in large‑scale environments.
