Chat Support Representative – Walk‑In Hiring (Chennai)

About the role

Join HCLTech as a Chat Support Representative in Chennai. You will be the first point of contact for customers reaching out via chat, handling basic L0/L1 queries related to printing, software usage, and general product information.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line assistance through the chat channel for L0/L1 issues.
• Assess customer problems quickly and deliver accurate information using appropriate tools.
• Escalate unresolved cases to the L2 support team.
• Log all interactions in the CRM system and ensure follow‑up procedures are completed.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and process account changes as needed.
• Adhere to communication guidelines, meet individual and team service targets, and handle complaints within defined time limits.

Required profile

• Strong English communication skills.
• Previous experience in customer support or client service, preferably in a chat environment.
• Excellent listening, empathy, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
• Collaborative mindset to work with other departments and obtain necessary information promptly.
