Chartered Accountant – Logistics Finance

About the role

SSRC Logistics Ltd, a leading logistics and transportation provider in India, is seeking a Chartered Accountant to join its finance team in Ponda. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on managing day‑to‑day financial accounting and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger, prepare financial statements and perform account reconciliations.
• Oversee statutory compliance including GST, TDS, taxation and other regulatory filings.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis to guide business decisions.
• Review internal controls, coordinate internal and external audits, and monitor cost structures across transport and warehousing operations.
• Provide financial insights and risk‑mitigation recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification with solid knowledge of accounting standards.
• Experience in corporate accounting, financial statement preparation and account reconciliation.
• Familiarity with logistics or transportation industry regulations is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP/accounting software.
• Advanced MS Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
• Understanding of GST, TDS and other direct/indirect taxation.
