Central Inventory Controller – Supply Chain

About the role

We are seeking a highly analytical Central Inventory Controller to lead inventory management across multiple manufacturing sites. The role focuses on optimizing raw material and packaging material inventories, reducing working capital, and ensuring uninterrupted material availability while adhering to company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain inventory MIS, dashboards, and performance reports for raw and packaging materials.
• Publish weekly and monthly inventory reports and KPIs, and develop 3‑month inventory projections.
• Track inventory receipt and consumption against plan, review safety stock parameters, and analyze safety stock adherence.
• Maintain SAP Material Master data accuracy and conduct write‑off, non‑moving, slow‑moving, near‑expiry, and blocked stock analyses.
• Lead liquidation initiatives for non‑moving inventory, coordinate inter‑plant stock transfers, and manage disposal or sale of obsolete stock.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Demand Planning, and Manufacturing to align material requirements and monitor critical shortages.
• Establish and govern inventory SOPs, ensure audit readiness, and support continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years of experience in inventory analytics, control, or supply chain planning.
• B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Chemical) or B.Pharm combined with an MBA in Operations/SCM.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.

• SAP ERP (Material Master, MRP coordination)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP)
