CCTV Operator – Security Surveillance

About the role

The CCTV Operator will monitor live video feeds from multiple client sites across South India, ensuring the safety of people, property and critical infrastructure. Working from a control room, you will detect incidents in real time, support on‑site security teams and maintain accurate records of all surveillance activities.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor multiple live camera feeds in real‑time across various zones such as entry/exit points, lobbies, warehouses and data centres.
• Alert on‑site security supervisors immediately when suspicious activity, safety violations or emergencies are observed.
• Respond to incidents like intrusion, fire alarms, loitering or unauthorized access, preserve video evidence and follow chain‑of‑custody protocols.
• Verify access‑control events, cross‑check identities and flag tailgating or forced entries.
• Ensure timely recording, safe storage and retrieval of CCTV footage according to site retention policies.
• Conduct regular equipment checks on cameras, DVR/NVRs, monitors, switches and power backups, and coordinate maintenance or repairs.
• Maintain daily control‑room logs, shift handover notes and submit security reports while respecting confidentiality.

Required profile

• Minimum 12th pass; diploma in Electronics, IT or Computer Applications preferred.
• 1‑3 years of experience in CCTV operation or control‑room roles, preferably in malls, tech parks, industrial plants, hospitals or logistics hubs.
• Age between 21 and 45 years.
• Working knowledge of English and a regional language (e.g., Kannada).
