CCTV Operator

About the role

The CCTV Operator will work on‑site in Jammu, monitoring live video feeds and reviewing recorded footage to ensure the safety and security of the premises. You will act as the first line of detection for any suspicious activity, safety hazards, or security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor live CCTV streams and review archived video for potential threats.
• Report suspicious activities, safety hazards, and security incidents promptly to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain, test, and adjust CCTV equipment to ensure optimal camera positioning and functionality.
• Log incidents, system issues, and equipment status in accordance with company procedures.
• Collaborate with security and operations teams, following established protocols.
• Support investigations by retrieving, organizing, and delivering relevant video evidence while preserving confidentiality.

Required profile

• Strong observation skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to stay alert during extended monitoring periods.
• Basic technical understanding of CCTV systems and troubleshooting.
• Good written and verbal communication for clear incident documentation.
• Familiarity with safety, security standards and data‑privacy practices.
• High school diploma or equivalent; security or surveillance certifications are a plus.
