Caster Line Mechanical Assembly Fitter

About the role

The Caster Line Mechanical Assembly Fitter is a full‑time, on‑site position in Bhubaneswar. You will be responsible for assembling and fitting mechanical components for caster lines and related steel fabrication equipment, ensuring compliance with technical drawings, specifications, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Align and install mechanical parts for caster lines and steel fabrication equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance, adjustments, and troubleshooting of mechanical faults.
• Inspect assemblies for quality, accuracy, and safety compliance.
• Collaborate with welders, fabricators, and engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Assist in equipment setup, commissioning, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Required profile

• Relevant technical ITI, diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (beneficial).
• Experience in industrial steel plants or caster line operations is an advantage.
• Ability to work on‑site in a physically demanding environment.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and adherence to standardized procedures and safety guidelines.
