Cashier – Full-time On-site Role

About the role

VRO Hospitality is seeking a full-time, on‑site Cashier in Bengaluru to ensure accurate billing and smooth front‑of‑house operations. The role involves handling cash, card and digital payments while delivering courteous service to guests.

Key responsibilities

• Process customer bills accurately and issue receipts.
• Handle cash, card and digital payments using POS terminals.
• Verify prices, discounts and maintain clear transaction records.
• Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
• Respond to guest billing inquiries and resolve payment‑related issues.
• Coordinate with serving staff and management to ensure seamless operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized cashier station.
• Follow company financial policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Strong numerical and basic accounting abilities.
• Clear communication and customer‑service skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
• Basic technical aptitude for operating POS and digital payment platforms.
• Prior experience as a cashier or in a similar hospitality/retail role (preferred).
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; finance or hospitality training is a plus.
• Demonstrated reliability, integrity and adherence to cash‑handling policies.
