Cashier – Full-time On-site Position

About the role

The Cashier will be responsible for handling daily cash and card transactions, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate payment records for a leading textile trading company. This is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Ahmednagar, requiring close collaboration with the local team.

Key responsibilities

• Process cash and card payments and issue receipts.
• Operate the billing system and perform day‑end cash reconciliation.
• Ensure all transactions comply with company policies.
• Assist customers with billing queries and resolve payment‑related issues.
• Coordinate with the accounts and sales teams on payment matters.
• Safeguard cash, financial documents, and maintain accurate records.

Required profile

• Strong cash‑handling, billing and POS operation skills with high attention to detail.
• Basic accounting and record‑keeping abilities, including transaction reconciliation and data entry.
• Effective customer service and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computers and office applications such as spreadsheets and billing software.
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site in Ahmednagar, demonstrating reliability, punctuality and confidentiality.
• Prior experience as a cashier or accounts assistant is preferred.
• Relevant diploma or degree in commerce, finance or business is advantageous.
