Carpentry Trainer – Office Fit‑Out Specialist

About the role

The Carpentry Trainer will design, deliver and assess a modular carpentry curriculum for site carpenters working on office interior fit‑out projects. The role combines classroom instruction, hands‑on training and on‑site supervision to ensure workers meet SKV’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a modular training curriculum covering basic joinery, advanced finishing, and office‑fit‑out specific trades.
• Conduct classroom and practical training batches at the Gurgaon facility and travel to other sites as required.
• Assess trainees through practical skill tests, quality benchmarks and certify successful candidates.
• Maintain accurate training records, attendance logs and certification status.
• Teach assembly of modular office furniture, storage units, conference room fixtures and soft‑seating.
• Instruct on site carpentry tasks such as partition framing, door and frame installation, wall paneling, false‑ceiling framing, flooring support and custom joinery.
• Guide material optimization, cutting layout planning and tool/equipment upkeep.
• Perform quality inspections to verify finish levels before client handover.

Required profile

• Proven experience in carpentry, office interior fit‑out, and furniture assembly.
• Strong knowledge of joinery, finishing techniques and modular construction methods.
• Ability to train and assess adult learners in a hands‑on environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
