Caregiver

About the role

Hope Agency is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Caregiver to join its team in Kerala, India. You will support individuals with daily living activities, ensure their safety and comfort, and provide compassionate emotional support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and feeding.
• Prepare meals and help with nutrition as needed.
• Monitor client well‑being, follow care plans, and provide medication reminders according to guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment.
• Document care activities and communicate observations to supervisors or family members.
• Engage clients in appropriate activities to promote mental and physical health.

Required profile

• Experience in healthcare, home nursing, or caregiving (registered nurses, home nurses, BAMS‑qualified professionals, patient attendants, etc. are encouraged to apply).
• Ability to provide personal care and support daily living activities.
• Strong interpersonal qualities such as empathy, patience, and trust‑building.
• Basic health‑and‑safety awareness, including infection‑control practices and emergency response readiness.
• Effective communication skills for reporting and teamwork.
• Reliability, punctuality, and willingness to follow established care plans and agency protocols.
• Availability to work on‑site in Kerala with flexibility for shift‑based or weekend work.
