Cardiologist – Interventional & Preventive Cardiac Care

About the role

Intima Heart & Superspeciality Hospital is looking for a dedicated Cardiologist to join its high‑performance Cardiology Department. The role involves diagnosing, treating and managing a broad spectrum of cardiovascular diseases while contributing to advanced interventional and preventive cardiac care in a state‑of‑the‑art cardiac centre.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
• Perform and interpret non‑invasive investigations such as ECG, echocardiography, stress tests and Holter monitoring.
• Evaluate patients for interventional procedures and provide pre‑ and post‑procedure care.
• Perform or assist with coronary angiography, angioplasty and other interventional cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Educate patients on disease prevention, lifestyle modification and long‑term cardiac care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to evidence‑based practices.
• Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives and continuous medical education.

Required profile

• DM/DNB in Cardiology from a recognised institution.
• Valid medical registration with the appropriate medical council.
• Strong clinical, diagnostic and patient‑management skills.
• Experience in non‑invasive and/or interventional cardiology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Passion for patient‑centred cardiac care.
