Cardiac Anesthesia Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiac Anesthesia Specialist to join our leading cardiac care centre in India. You will provide comprehensive peri‑operative anesthesia care for complex adult and paediatric cardiac procedures, ensuring patient safety and optimal haemodynamic stability.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver peri‑operative anesthesia for open‑heart, valve, CABG, transplant and minimally invasive cardiac surgeries.
• Manage intra‑operative haemodynamics using TEE, arterial lines, PA catheters and rapid response protocols.
• Lead ACLS‑guided cardiac arrest response and emergency resuscitation during high‑risk cases.
• Collaborate with surgeons, perfusionists and ICU teams to tailor anaesthetic plans for comorbidities such as CHF and pulmonary hypertension.
• Perform and interpret transesophageal echocardiography (TEE) in real time.
• Ensure compliance with NABH, JCI and institutional safety protocols.

Required profile

• DNB/MD in Anesthesiology with fellowship or advanced training in Cardiac Anesthesia.
• Proven experience in adult and paediatric cardiac surgeries.
• Current ACLS certification with active resuscitation experience.
• Expertise in cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) management and heparin protocols.
