Capsule Machine Operator

About the role

Impact Healthcare Formulations is seeking a dedicated Capsule Machine Operator to join its state‑of‑the‑art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Jammu. The role is full‑time, on‑site, and focuses on operating capsule‑filling equipment while ensuring product quality and compliance with strict GMP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor capsule‑filling machines according to SOPs and production schedules.
• Measure and load raw materials, adjust machine parameters, and perform in‑process quality checks.
• Document batch information accurately and maintain production records.
• Conduct basic troubleshooting, routine cleaning, and preventive maintenance of equipment.
• Follow safety, hygiene, and GMP guidelines at all times.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet output targets and ensure consistent product quality.

Required profile

• Experience operating capsule‑filling or similar pharmaceutical machinery.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs, production records, and batch documentation with high attention to detail.
• Technical and mechanical aptitude for routine equipment adjustments and maintenance.
• Strong organizational and time‑management skills to meet production targets.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Jammu in a shift‑based environment.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in pharma or food manufacturing preferred.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle repetitive tasks safely.
