CAPA Owner

About the role

As a CAPA Owner you will develop electrical sub‑systems and solutions for Interventional Guided Therapy (IGT) X‑Ray systems, ensuring compliance with international standards. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of subject‑matter experts to investigate, resolve and close corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) across Philips IGT products.

Key responsibilities

• Independently execute CAPA investigations from acceptance to closure, creating and managing CAPA plans.
• Lead a team of experts, coordinating across functions in India, Europe and other locations.
• Ensure CAPA deliverables meet quality standards, timelines and are documented in the Quality Case Management (QCM) tool.
• Communicate progress and outcomes to all relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain and improve laboratory equipment, facilities and supplier quality.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics.
• Minimum 14 + years of professional engineering experience.
• At least 5 years in medical device quality management (ISO 13485:2016) and 5 years in product development (IEC 60601‑1).
• Proven experience handling CAPA processes in a regulated industry.
