About the role

The Donut Affair, a specialty café in South Goa, is looking for a dedicated Cafe Manager to lead daily operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience. This full‑time, on‑site position involves overseeing staff, inventory, and service standards in a fast‑paced, creative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage staff schedules, training, and performance.
• Supervise food and beverage preparation, ensuring hygiene and safety compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness, safety standards, and overall café appearance.
• Monitor inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and handle cash and basic financial reporting.
• Address customer concerns promptly and support sales initiatives to drive revenue.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with a friendly, welcoming attitude.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with team members, leadership, and vendors.
• Experience in café, restaurant, or hospitality management (preferred).
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team in a fast‑paced setting.
• Flexibility to work weekends and peak hours as needed.

Required skills

• Knowledge of food & beverage operations and best practices.
• Understanding of inventory management and cash handling procedures.
• Sales skills for upselling and cross‑selling menu items.
