CAD Designer

About the role

Assystem, a global engineering and digital services provider, is looking for a CAD Designer to join its Chennai office. The role focuses on bridge and infrastructure projects, requiring the creation of detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD and Revit. You will translate design concepts into accurate technical documentation and support the engineering team throughout the project lifecycle. The position offers the chance to work on major bridges, flyovers and underpasses for critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain bridge structure drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Prepare General Arrangement drawings for major bridges, flyovers, and underpasses.
• Produce reinforcement drawings for superstructure, substructure, and foundation elements.
• Perform detailed CAD structure and rebar detailing for bridge projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with design standards.
• Review and update existing drawings as project requirements evolve.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Immediate availability preferred.
• Strong understanding of bridge design principles.
• Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Experience with Revit.
• Knowledge of CAD Structure software.
• Rebar detailing expertise.
