CAD Designer – Bridge (Structural Drafting)

About the role

ASSYSTEM is seeking a CAD Designer specialized in bridge and structural drafting to join its Navi Mumbai office. The role focuses on producing accurate steel and concrete drawings for bridges, viaducts, metro stations and related infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop general arrangement drawings for bridges and associated building components, ensuring architectural and structural integrity.
• Create detailed reinforcement drawings for foundations, sub‑structures and super‑structures, complying with relevant codes.
• Produce steel and concrete girder drawings, including plate, truss and open‑web configurations with precise connection details.
• Review and verify fabrication drawings submitted by external agencies for compliance and quality.
• Generate formwork drawings based on engineer specifications and conduct material research and selection.

Required profile

• Diploma or ITI certification in Civil Engineering or a related technical field.
• 3–8 years of experience in structural drafting, preferably on metro stations, viaducts, rail or road bridges.
• Proven ability to produce high‑quality technical drawings and specifications.
• Immediate availability is preferred.

• AutoCAD (2D and 3D) proficiency.
