C++ Engineer – Edge Computing

About the role

At Coram AI we are reimagining video security with a cloud‑native platform that uses computer vision and AI. You will join a fast‑moving team focused on clarity, craftsmanship and impact, working on the edge‑computing stack that powers Coram Point.

Key responsibilities

• Build edge applications that process vision data and manage communication layers on compute‑constrained devices.
• Deploy machine‑learning models to production and optimise runtime performance.
• Develop primarily in C++ with GPU‑accelerated pipeline components.
• Create observability and telemetry capabilities for the edge platform.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science.
• 3–8 years of experience with data structures, algorithms and object‑oriented design.
• Strong C++ programming skills and solid Linux knowledge.
• Familiarity with additional languages such as Java, Python or Shell scripting.
• Experience with edge/IoT computing, infrastructure management (Salt), monitoring (Grafana), video streaming (GStreamer) or ML model integration (PyTorch) is a plus.
• Resilient in fast‑paced environments and excellent written and verbal communication in English.
• Willingness to work onsite.
