Business Release Manager – M&P

About the role

The Business Release Manager – M&P will join Airbus Group India’s Aerostructures Data Management Team within the Airframe Department. You will be responsible for the end‑to‑end release of M&P tools and for supporting aircraft programmes across development, service and future projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, lead and manage Business Releases (Epics, capabilities, features) using VersionOne as the master plan.
• Define and validate the release roadmap with Epic owners, product managers and program stakeholders (Blue/Orange plan alignment).
• Attend Pre‑ and Post‑Program Increment (PI) meetings to ensure consistency and synchronisation across releases.
• Identify inter‑dependencies with other large‑solution releases and coordinate regular alignment meetings.
• Design deployment strategies, create awareness, training and user guides for released tools.
• Manage risks, opportunities and mitigation actions, including critical‑path and fallback scenarios.
• Ensure data compliance (export control, GDPR, IP, segregation) for all M&P solutions.
• Lead supplier business deployment for M&P applications and manage supplier support queries.
• Oversee workflow administration on MAPIS, ServiceNow and TechRequest platforms.
• Review and manage Airbus Process Instruction Deviations (APID) and Capture of Product and Process Requests (CPPR).

Required profile

• Proven experience in release management for engineering or software tools, preferably in an aerospace environment.
• Strong understanding of Materials & Processes (M&P) concepts and compliance requirements.
• Familiarity with Agile SAFe methodology and ability to work in cross‑functional teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
