Business Officer – Pharmaceutical Sales

About the role

Bayer is looking for a Business Officer to drive the promotion of its pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals. You will be responsible for meeting sales targets, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales, volume, growth, market share and listing targets for assigned brands.
• Plan and execute healthcare professional (HCP) engagements using Patient Focused Interactions.
• Record all customer activities in Veeva CRM and leverage its features to improve interactions.
• Monitor competitor activity and report insights to management.
• Organise scientific updates such as CME events and meetings in line with marketing strategies.
• Continuously update medical and clinical knowledge, brand strategy and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams, providing feedback on strategies and identifying new business opportunities.
• Manage distribution tasks including order collection, sales reporting and adherence to credit policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (advanced qualification a plus).
• 2–3 years of proven pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Fluent in the local language; English proficiency is a plus.
• Energetic, enthusiastic and self‑motivated.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Veeva CRM.
• Basic IT literacy – ability to use computers, tablets and related software efficiently.
