Business Development & Technical Development – CASE Applications

About the role

The Business Development and Technical Development (TD) role focuses on expanding BASF’s CASE (coatings, composites, adhesives, sealants, elastomers) and eMobility portfolio in India. You will drive new‑business opportunities, support existing customers and align sales activities with the company’s regional strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support and expertise on CASE and eMobility products to clients and internal teams.
• Identify, evaluate and pursue new business opportunities in line with the country and regional strategy.
• Develop and execute a business development plan to increase market share and revenue.
• Assist the sales team with technical presentations, product demonstrations and client training.
• Collaborate with Technical Development and Product Development teams to improve existing solutions and create new offerings based on market needs.
• Manage project timelines, deliverables and client requirements for product applications.
• Prepare regular reports on market analysis, business development activities and client feedback.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development within the chemical, coatings or eMobility sectors.
• Strong understanding of CASE product specifications and industry standards.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and key industry stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills for technical presentations and client training.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of CASE product portfolio (coatings, composites, adhesives, sealants, elastomers).
• Understanding of eMobility product specifications and related industry standards.
