Business Development Manager – Vizag

About the role

Birla Pivot is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Vizag operations. The role focuses on expanding the B2B e‑commerce platform for building materials by acquiring new customers, managing existing accounts, and driving revenue growth.

Key responsibilities

• Proactively generate business enquiries through market research and networking to grow the customer base.
• Develop and implement strategies to achieve assigned sales targets for building‑material products.
• Manage existing customer accounts, facilitate repeat orders, and identify upselling opportunities.
• Ensure efficient order processing using digital tools and support customers with pre‑order inquiries.
• Oversee timely collection of receivables from customer accounts.
• Identify and target retailers, wholesalers, contractors and builders in the construction materials sector.
• Build strong relationships with key decision‑makers through regular visits and communication.
• Convert qualified leads, onboard new customers and drive transactions to meet GMV and revenue forecasts.
• Maintain accurate customer data in the CRM system, ensuring up‑to‑date information.

Required profile
