Business Development Manager – Outbound Channel

About the role

Walmart Cross Border Trade (CBT) India is looking for a Business Development Manager – Outbound Channel to help Indian brands, manufacturers and exporters sell globally on Walmart Marketplace. You will drive seller acquisition, onboarding and growth, enabling partners to reach over 120 million U.S. consumers each month.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a scalable recruitment strategy for target categories by analysing the competitive landscape and defining seller portfolios.
• Identify and recruit Indian sellers to execute aggressive global growth plans.
• Support sellers’ launch and sales acceleration on Walmart through adoption of key levers.
• Track, analyse and report personal and team KPIs, providing actionable insights for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Walmart to align short‑term and long‑term business goals.
• Lead programs to improve seller onboarding experience and team effectiveness.

Required profile

• MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree.
• 5+ years of business development or account management experience, with at least 2 years in e‑commerce.
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with top brands, manufacturers and exporters at CXO level.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize in a fast‑paced environment and lead cross‑functional projects.
