Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will work on‑site in Bengaluru South, driving growth for MHS by expanding the agency’s client portfolio and delivering influencer marketing solutions that meet brand objectives and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets.
• Nurture relationships with brands and present tailored influencer marketing proposals.
• Conduct market research, analyse data and develop strategic plans.
• Prepare and deliver presentations, negotiate contracts and coordinate with campaign and influencer teams.
• Manage a sales pipeline, track performance metrics and produce regular business reports.
• Support strategic initiatives to enhance MHS’s market presence.
• Engage existing clients to secure repeat business and upsell services.

Required profile

• Proven business development and sales expertise, including lead generation, client acquisition and negotiation.
• Strong analytical, research and strategic planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior marketing and leadership stakeholders.
• Effective account management and project coordination experience.
• Good knowledge of influencer marketing, digital marketing and social media trends, especially on YouTube and Instagram.
• Organised, able to manage multiple clients and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Prior experience in business development or sales within marketing, advertising or digital agencies is highly beneficial.
