About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead relationship building and account management for independent hotels across the Pune region. Reporting to the Zonal Manager, you will drive sustainable performance, revenue growth, and strategic partnerships within MakeMyTrip's Hotels vertical.

Key responsibilities

Connect with and engage independent hotels, handling end‑to‑end account management.
Source, onboard, and grow the hotel portfolio, ensuring inventory meets market demand.
Develop and execute business plans to achieve revenue targets and maintain competitive rates across platforms.
Analyse performance data, prepare MIS and market intelligence reports, and provide actionable insights to hotel partners.
Conduct site visits, train partners on the extranet and wholesale processes, and negotiate contracts.

Required profile

Strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management abilities.
High energy, team‑player attitude with excellent interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in B2B sales or business development within hospitality or travel.
