Business Development Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Business Development Manager to drive new B2B opportunities for our washroom automation and industrial entrance solutions across hospitality, corporate, government, retail, airport and IT park sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target sectors.
• Generate, qualify and nurture leads through prospecting and pipeline management.
• Conduct client meetings, product demonstrations and presentations.
• Prepare accurate proposals, quotations and pricing presentations.
• Negotiate commercial terms in line with company policies.
• Track sales performance against targets and maintain CRM records.
• Coordinate with marketing, project coordination and customer support teams to ensure timely delivery and installation.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to refine go‑to‑market strategies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, B2B sales and account management, preferably in building products or automation.
• Strong lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management and sales forecasting abilities.
• Demonstrated client relationship management, stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.
• Ability to prepare detailed proposals, quotations and pricing documents with commercial accuracy.
• Comfortable using CRM tools and Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical, planning and problem‑solving mindset with a results‑oriented approach.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently in the field and meet deadlines consistently.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related field; MBA is a plus.
• Prior experience in the Srinagar or broader regional market and willingness to travel locally for client visits.
