About the role
The Business Development Manager will drive growth in the Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS) sector by identifying new opportunities, building strong client relationships, and meeting revenue and profitability targets. This role requires deep knowledge of EMS processes, strategic planning, and strong negotiation abilities.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in ODM and CDM verticals.
- Develop and execute market expansion strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Build and maintain relationships with CXOs and key decision‑makers.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and finance teams to deliver tailored client solutions.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to spot trends.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements.
- Drive export business for electronics, mechatronics, and box‑build solutions.
- Prepare and present sales forecasts, business plans, and performance reports.
Required profile
- 8 to 15 years of business development or sales experience, preferably in EMS or related industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven B2B sales track record and strong knowledge of EMS processes, reverse logistics, and supply chain management.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Required skills
- Proficiency with CRM tools.
- Advanced use of MS Office applications.
