Business Development Manager – Corporate Events

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive growth of our corporate events portfolio in Ahmedabad. You will be responsible for acquiring new corporate clients, building lasting relationships, and promoting a wide range of event services such as product launches, dealer meets, exhibitions, and BTL activations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and acquire new corporate clients.
• Generate qualified leads and develop new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with decision‑makers and key stakeholders.
• Promote event services including product launches, dealer meets, exhibitions, BTL activations, and corporate events.
• Understand client requirements and recommend suitable event solutions.
• Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and pitches to potential clients.
• Manage the full business development cycle from prospecting to negotiation and client acquisition.
• Coordinate with internal event and operations teams for smooth project handover.
• Maintain regular follow‑ups with prospects and existing clients to foster long‑term relationships.
• Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and potential partnerships.
• Achieve agreed sales and client acquisition targets.

Required profile

• Strong business development and sales background.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven client relationship management and negotiation abilities.
• Confidence presenting to corporate decision‑makers.
• Ability to spot opportunities and convert prospects into clients.
• Self‑motivated, target‑oriented and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous experience in business development, corporate sales, event services, BTL activations, or client acquisition is preferred.
