About the role
We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive the launch of broadband services through local cable operators (LCOs) across identified Indian cities. The role involves travelling to target markets, coordinating pre‑launch activities and ensuring successful onboarding of partners.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and cluster target cities for broadband rollout.
- Assess market potential and provide inputs to the network planning team.
- Locate, onboard, train and manage LCO partners, including billing and acquisition processes.
- Oversee home‑pass deployment in approved clusters and test network elements.
- Deliver training on Airtel systems, applications and processes to LCO staff.
- Negotiate and resolve complex situations with multiple stakeholders.
Required profile
- Full‑time graduate; MBA or PGDM preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience, preferably in telecom or FMCG.
- Strong execution ability, high adaptability and structured decision‑making.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with solid financial control awareness.
