Business Development Manager – Ahmedabad

About the role

The Business Development Manager will lead the Independent Hotels team in Ahmedabad, establishing and nurturing relationships with independent hotel partners across India. The role involves end‑to‑end account management, driving sustainable performance, and supporting hotels with data‑driven insights and best‑practice recommendations.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, source, and onboard new independent hotels to the MakeMyTrip platform.
• Maintain and grow existing hotel relationships through regular visits, performance reviews, and strategic guidance.
• Develop and execute business plans to increase net revenue, ensure inventory availability, and keep rates competitive across channels.
• Analyse hotel performance data, prepare MIS and market intelligence reports, and share actionable feedback with partners.
• Negotiate contracts, close deals, and collaborate with internal teams such as revenue management, marketing, product, and operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in B2B sales or business development within the hospitality or travel sector.
• Strong communication, influencing, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• High energy, team‑player attitude, and willingness to travel frequently across the region.
