Business Development Executive

About the role

The Business Development Executive will identify and generate new business opportunities for our software solutions across multiple domains, including Direct Selling, E‑Commerce, Finance, Retail and Mobility. The role involves understanding client needs, presenting tailored demos, and driving the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.

Key responsibilities

• Research, network and conduct outbound activities to uncover new prospects.
• Analyse client requirements and propose appropriate software or SaaS solutions.
• Deliver product demonstrations and customized presentations.
• Collaborate with sales, marketing and product teams to craft compelling proposals.
• Manage leads through the sales funnel, ensuring consistent follow‑up and relationship building.
• Negotiate terms, close deals and achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
• Maintain accurate activity records in the CRM system.
• Stay informed on industry trends, competitor offerings and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or a related field.
• 1–2 years of business development or sales experience in the IT/software industry.
• Strong understanding of software products, SaaS solutions and technology trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation abilities.
• Self‑driven, goal‑oriented and capable of working both independently and within a team.

Required skills

• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, non‑technical language.
• Proficiency in using CRM tools to track sales activities.
