Business Development Executive (Field Sales)

About the role

GPM Bazaar is seeking a motivated Business Development Executive to expand its digital marketplace by visiting local businesses, explaining the advantages of online listings, and onboarding new sellers. This field‑sales position involves direct interaction with business owners and requires a proactive, target‑driven approach.

Key responsibilities

• Visit local retailers, service providers, and commercial establishments.
• Explain the benefits of digital business listings and online visibility.
• Present GPM Bazaar’s marketplace and seller opportunities.
• Convert prospects into active business listings.
• Assist businesses with onboarding and profile setup.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with business owners.
• Follow up with leads and meet monthly acquisition targets.
• Maintain records of visits, leads, and conversions.
• Provide market feedback and competitor insights.

Required profile

• Experience in field sales, business development, marketing, or customer acquisition.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence in face‑to‑face sales and presentations.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and able to travel locally.
• Basic understanding of digital platforms and online marketing (preferred).
