About the role
Apna is seeking an energetic Business Development Executive to join its Growth and Business team. This entry‑level position focuses on acquiring small‑ and medium‑size business (SMB) customers for Apna's hiring solutions, conducting cold outreach, and closing long‑term partnerships.
Key responsibilities
- Visit 7‑9 SMB clients daily to pitch Apna’s recruitment products.
- Generate and share prospect data with the manager.
- Handle objections related to product features, competition, pricing, and expectations.
- Sell recruitment solutions by assessing client business needs.
- Onboard new clients and ensure they post their first job on the platform.
- Create market references and drive organic revenue growth.
- Represent the Apna brand, distribute collaterals, and build references.
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales targets and contribute to short‑ and long‑term growth goals.
Required profile
- Self‑motivated hustler with strong street‑smart instincts.
- Excellent negotiation and lead‑generation skills (cold calling and in‑person).
- Possession of a valid driving licence and a bike for extensive travel.
- Team player with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively for client visits.
