Business Controller – Hybrid (India)

About the role

BCD Travel is seeking a Business Controller to oversee financial reporting and accounting practices for the company or a specific region. This hybrid position combines strategic oversight with hands‑on financial analysis to ensure the organization’s assets are protected and expenditures are accurately tracked.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic direction and oversight for the reporting function.
• Ensure policies comply with federal and state regulations and support fiscal strength.
• Review monthly consolidated and branch financial statements, including projections and variance analysis.
• Maintain division financial records and contracts securely and accessibly.
• Assist in preparing annual budgets and business plans.
• Manage and control expenses, monitoring performance against budget.

Required profile

• Prior experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of controlling, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Independent, goal‑oriented work style.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of SAP R3 FI & CO.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
