Business Analyst – Tier 2 Support & Requirements

About the role

Paralucent is looking for a Business Analyst to act as the bridge between production support, business teams, and technical delivery. The role focuses on Tier 2 issue intake, translating incidents and change requests into clear, actionable requirements for fast fixes and clean releases across SaaS and custom .NET/SharePoint applications.

Key responsibilities

• Own Tier 2 intake: analyse incidents, confirm scope, perform triage/reproduction, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate needs into delivery‑ready artifacts such as user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows.
• Partner with development and QA to validate scope, highlight risks early, and coordinate UAT inputs.
• Facilitate stakeholder and vendor coordination to ensure alignment across business, support, and SaaS vendors.
• Develop and maintain lightweight documentation (runbooks, FAQs, known error patterns, knowledge articles).
• Apply data‑driven analysis to identify trends and recommend continuous‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or consulting environment.
• Strong expertise in requirements gathering, user story creation, and acceptance criteria definition.
• Experience supporting production applications, incident triage, and operational changes.
• Comfortable working with both vendor‑supported SaaS and custom‑built applications.
• Familiarity with Agile or hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
