About the role
Assystem is seeking a Bridge Design Engineer to join its Chennai office. You will work on the design and analysis of major bridge structures, ensuring compliance with Indian and international codes. The role involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe and efficient infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
- Perform analysis and design of RCC, PSC and steel‑composite girders for highway, railway and metro loadings.
- Design bridge foundations, including open, pile and well foundations.
- Prepare General Arrangement Drawings for major bridges, flyovers and underpasses.
- Manage the approval process with IE, AE, railway authorities and other regulatory bodies.
Required profile
- M.Tech in Structural Engineering.
- 3 to 10 years of experience in bridge design using IRC/International codes.
Required skills
- Proficiency with IRC/International bridge design codes.
- Experience using analysis software such as Staad and Midas.
- Knowledge of RCC, PSC and steel‑composite girder design.
- Familiarity with foundation design (open, pile, well).
